Cancellation Policy

We understand that life can be unpredictable and plans can change. To best accommodate you and other families, we ask that you follow the policy outlined below.

Payment policy

Payment is due in full at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in advance. A detailed receipt is provided for your records. You are responsible for submitting to your private insurer for reimbursement.

Travel fees

A travel fee applies for home visits located more than 30 kilometres from Ottawa (measured from postal code K1V 2J8). Travel fees are communicated in advance and added to your consultation total.

Cancellation policy

A cancellation fee of $50 applies to visits cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, but the visit may be rescheduled once with no fee if rebooked within 7 days. No-shows or repeated short-notice cancellations may result in full charges. Workshops must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund or reschedule.

Refunds

Consultation fees are non-refundable once the service has been provided. If you are unsatisfied, please reach out so we can discuss how to address your concerns.

Inclement weather / illness

If you or your baby are unwell, or weather may affect a home visit, please contact me as early as possible. We'll reschedule at no additional charge.
